On FBI letterhead dated September 22, 1971, this otherwise routine letter describes many of Hoover's personal interests. Strikingly framed with a photograph of Hoover with his assistant and alleged lover Clyde Tolson watching the famed Joe Louis-Jack Sharkey boxing match with unusual interest.
