ADLAI E. STEVENSON II (1900-1965) was an American politician. He served one term as governor of Illinois and ran, unsuccessfully, for president against Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1952 and 1956. Typed Letter Signed on personal stationery, 7” x 7.5”, dated August 10, 1956, Chicago, Illinois, to noted New England architect William Roger Greeley.
