Fountain pen signature, “Enrico Fermi,” on the correspondence side of an off-white 3.25 x 5.5 postcard. The reverse side reveals the postmark September 1, 1938, the auspicious year in which Fermi won the Nobel Prize for Physics at the age of 37.
