Twice-Signed Postcard from Jack Dempsey Restaurant - 1935

Original vintage 1935 postcard from Jack Dempsey Restaurant in New York, signed twice by the famed boxer himself in black ink (front and back). In fine unused condition. Accompanied by a small vintage ad from Comfort Magazine, a pulp rag of the period, discussing how best to obtain Dempsey's autograph.

William Harrison "Jack" Dempsey (1895-1983), also known as "The Manassa Mauler", was an American professional boxer, who became a cultural icon of the 1920s. Dempsey held the World Heavyweight Championship from 1919 to 1926, and his aggressive style and exceptional punching power made him one of the most popular boxers in history. Many of his fights set financial and attendance records, including the first million-dollar gate.
