Official vignette engraving of the south portico of the White House circa 1940, signed in black ink by Eleanor Roosevelt, the longest serving First Lady in American history (12 years, from 1933 to 1945). Heavyweight black and white 8″ x 6″ buff card in fine condition, image 5″ x 3½” on a single surface. A lovely view of the south facade of the White House as seen from the southeast lawn. In ornate wooden frame likely from the period.
