Scarce signed first edition of Katharine Hepburn’s first book, her delightful 1987 memoir The Making of the African Queen–or–How I went to Africa with Bogart, Bacall and Huston and almost lost my mind. In fine condition with fine unclipped dust jacket. Stated first edition, dates match on title and copyright page. Ivory tweed cloth with facsimile signature in gold gilt of the author on front cover. Signed later in life as her essential tremors condition worsened.
