Vintage 8″ x 10″ black and white photograph from I Love Lucy’s “Ethel’s Home Town,” (Season 4, Episode 15) that aired in January 1955. In excellent condition, signed by Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.

Synopsis: On the road, Lucy, Ricky, Fred and Ethel arrive in her hometown Albuquerque, New Mexico. Apparently Ethel, a former vaudevillian who still longs for the spotlight, has made it seem in letters home as if she’s going to Hollywood to star in a movie instead of Ricky. Her father and the whole town go all out for Ethel, who agrees to perform in a show for her fans. When she egotistically cuts the others out of the show, the trio decides to back her up anyway – on the stage. As Ethel sings musical numbers in the foreground, unbeknownst to her Lucy, Fred and Ricky are performing comedy routines behind her, to the delight of the audience. Ranked one of 1955’s top 10 episodes.
